Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoaringOps ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including club administrators ("Clubs") and individual pilots ("Members").

2. Description of Service

SoaringOps provides flight logging, member management, and billing tools for glider clubs. Clubs may use the Service to record flight activity, manage memberships, generate invoices, and collect payments from members via Stripe.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. SoaringOps is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

Club administrators are responsible for all activity that occurs under their club account, including the actions of invited members.

4. Payments and Billing

SoaringOps uses Stripe to process payments. By saving a payment method or authorizing charges, you agree to Stripe's terms in addition to these terms.

Clubs collect payments directly from their members via Stripe Connect. SoaringOps acts as a platform facilitating these transactions and is not a party to payment disputes between clubs and their members.

All fees, refund policies, and billing schedules are set by individual clubs. Members should contact their club administrator with billing questions.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service
• Submit false or misleading flight records
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SoaringOps and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SoaringOps does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoaringOps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
